I credit Steve Kaufmann for doing a video that is almost identical to this topic. I will leave a link to his video.
The answer to this question is NO! There is no evidence to prove its effectiveness in learning languages. I don’t see any research that proves such a method. There are shortcuts, but you still have to put in the hard work. From my point of view, it takes active engagement and interest with the language. This is about interacting with the language. So, what do we do? Steve Kaufmann said, “To me, language learning is an active thing”. I agree with Steve. For me, it is the same thing. I am doing something while learning the language. I listen to podcasts in Spanish. I read a book in Spanish. I hear other people speaking in Spanish. Also, he brought up about the emotional connection. I agree with that point too. From my experience, I have seen my passion for history that has an emotional attachment to me. I care about history. I enjoy history. The same thing applies with languages. Engage with the language. Do not sleep while learning the language. Be active. Listen and read a lot to gain more vocabulary and become fluent naturally. www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_6YuPpbZyw
