Pablo is the Youtuber of Dreaming Spanish. He uses Youtube videos to bring vocabulary in an interactive way. He uses visuals, hand gestures and props to communicate vocabulary words. I will leave the two links down below the blog post.
He is a believer of Stephen Krashen’s point of view of language acquisition. However, Pablo takes one step further by saying that we do not need to learn any grammar. My view is that we should double down on vocabulary and deemphasize grammar significantly. We should look at grammar explanations every once in a while. I do not agree that we should entirely not learn grammar. What I like is the use of multimodality to express vocabulary words through visuals, hand gestures and props. It is a good example of interacting with the language actively. This brings engagement in a more interactive way. In my opinion, I have not seen this much interaction with the language compared to my previous experiences. Overall, I am not in favor of never learning grammar during language learning, but I am in favor of having interesting content for people to read and listen to. Pablo, keep up the good work of producing engaging, interesting content! I think I might want to look more into his content to increase vocabulary and further my language acquisition. www.youtube.com/c/DreamingSpanish/featured
